Community Engagement and Translations
Underserved communities, such as ethnic minority and people with learning disabilities, have been disproportionately affected by the COVID-19 Pandemic and so it is extremely important to ensure that everyone has the opportunity join the PANORAMIC study. These communities have also been traditionally underrepresented in medical research.
We want to ensure that the PANORAMIC is accessible to all communities in all 4 countries of the UK, regardless of background, location, ethnicity, or socioeconomic status.
The first step in this is to reach out to people in these communities who may have been missed by traditional recruitment and awareness campaigns. The PANORAMIC Team are working with a diverse range of community groups to provide resources to raise awareness and inform these groups about the work we are doing.
Below are resources including translations. We want to be as inclusive as possible so if you represent a community group or organisation that wishes to work with the PANORAMIC Trial and feel you could help inform your communities, please contact our Inclusion and Diversity lead Professor Mahendra Patel at mahendra.patel@phc.ox.ac.uk
We are updating this page all of the time, so check back again soon if you can't find what you're looking for, or email us at panoramic@phc.ox.ac.uk.
